Catholic Construction Corps - International The need for a mission to address the living conditions of people developed from the Joliet Diocese Medical Mission to Sucre, Bolivia. It was in the barrios of Sucre, home for the poorest of the poor, that the Medical Mission realized how the less than adequate living conditions affected the people's health. Helping people of the barrios build basic sanitation facilities and adequate housing will improve their lives many fold. Whether you are skilled in building trades or an able-bodied worker, you can help the people of the barrios. The Catholic Construction Corps now travels each year not only to Sucre, but to Ecuador, the Philippines, and Kenya.
