Catholic Construction Corps - National Disaster Service The National Disaster Service is an outgrowth of the Catholic Construction Corps international mission to Sucre, Bolivia. Our Disaster Service Units assist in the repair and rebuilding of homes, working only with the poorest of the poor, i.e. those who have no insurance or other means to repair or rebuild for themselves. Volunteers of all skill levels are needed. All volunteer costs, except travel, are covered. The CCC National Disaster Service is a partnership with Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS). MDS has approximately 50 years experience in dealing with disasters. Service locations are determined jointly by MDS and the CCC. Volunteers must be prepared for a 40 hour week of hard work, attend the two formation meetings preceding the mission, and commit to the goals of the C.C.C. and the guidelines of MDS.
