Human Rights and Mental Health:
Newly emerging areas of peace psychology and liberation psychology, are bringing into sharp focus the essential interplay between human rights and mental health. This presentation will look briefly at these branches of psychology, what they may tell us about peace, justice, and emotional wholeness, and what we can do to promote these fields and spread their insights.

Fr. Szura was the Augustinian NGO representative for many years at the United Nations in New York City. He has been very involved in leadership in Pax Christi, IL, and currently teaches at seminaries in the Philippines and Peru. He is extremely knowledgeable and has vast experience.
