·        About 900,000 victims annually are trafficked across international borders worldwide.

·        400,000 children are domestically prostituted in the United States.

·        More women and children are enslaved today than in 19th century America.

As part of this presentation, USF’s University Ministry will serve and begin selling coffee, tea, and cocoa purchased through the Equal Exchange program that offers fairly traded products direct from small-scale farmer co-ops in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Sponsored by the University’s Center for the Study of Contemporary Ethics and the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate.
