Hello everyone,

 

Two vans of farmworkers departed from Immokalee, FL on Friday and are en route to the Chicago area for the CIW's McDonald's MiniTour. They spent Sunday in Louisville, home to Yum Brands and the historic CIW- Yum agreement, speaking with faith communities in the morning and then joining an energetic 100-person march to a local McDonald's restaurant.

 

The farmworkers and allies will be in the Chicago suburbs starting on Wednesday and many thanks goes out to all of you who have helped set up events, meals, and sleeping arrangement for their time here. And of course, we hope many of you will join us to picket at McDonald's Headquarters this Friday:
