LOBBY DAY UPDATE--Date Change
Abolitionists from around the state will now be lobbying legislators in Springfield on March 29, 2006.
The previous date of March 22 raised concerns due to its proximity to the primary election. We hope you can join us on March 29th.

Through the hard work of citizens throughout Illinois, our state has been a leader in the reexamination of the death penalty across the nation. We need to continue to educate our legislators on the ongoing flaws and injustices in our death penalty system.
Join ICADP in Springfield on Wednesday, March 29! (Bus leaves Chicago at 6:30 with stops in Bloomington and Joliet and returns by around 6:00).
Put your passion to work with a targeted group of legislators who may be ready to join ICADP and its concerns over the use of capital punishment against the seriously mentally ill and the rising costs of our death penalty system.
