Welcome
We want to welcome you to our new action alert system. Our former system crashed and so we have chosen to work with "Constant Contact," a company that serves many non-profit organizations. We hope this approach will improve our communications with you. The look and layout will evolve and will vary depending on whether it is an action alert, event notice or general newsletter.
In the process of migrating our database from the old system to the new, your email may have been imported to a list by mistake. You may change your action alert subscriptions or even remove yourself entirely from our emails by clicking on the link at the bottom of this email. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Welcoming the Stranger Among Us:
Putting a Human Face on Our Broken Immigration System
A community-wide event for those who want a better understanding f the need for comprehensive immigration reform.
Wednesday, March 10th, 7:30 pm St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish 1450 Green Trails Dr., Naperville, 60540 (corner of Green Trails Dr. & Naper Blvd.)
In the debate over immigration reform what often gets lost are the human lives that are caught up in an immigration system that most people see as broken. These are not abstract issues nor are they talking points in service to political ideologies. What is at stake are the lives of immigrant families, children and communities that live in our midst but are often invisible to us. This program is an opportunity
to put a human face on this important issue. Come and hear our neighbor's stories.
Sponsored by St. Margaret Mary Parish. For more information, contact Tom Cordaro at 630-369-0777.

Crossing Borders:
Migration, Theolodogy, and the Human Journey
8-session Small Group Study & Faith Sharing Program for those who want a better understanding of issues related to immigration reform
St. Margaret Mary Parish, Room #17
450 Green Trails Dr., Naperville (corner of Green Trails Dr. & Naper Blvd.)
Immigration is a complex issue that is reshaping the cultural, economic and political landscape of the planet. Anyone who speaks of simple solutions either does not understand it or is not listening. Each group in the immigration debate makes rightful claims to issues like economic stability, American jobs, cultural integrity, fiscal constraints, national security, human rights, property rights, labor rights, law and order, and many other issues. Many are divided over this issue precisely because it creates fault lines between many values that are important to us. Finding common ground amidst the fractious debate is not easy, which is the reason why it has become such an incendiary, political issue. This eight session module provides participants a chance to find common ground and to discover more about themselves, our God and the millions of people who are on the move in every part of the world.
COSTS: Registration for the study group is $10.00 The books used in the class cost $50.50. Payment can be paid upon receipt of books at the start of the group.
