This Wednesday, September 26, is National Clean Water Phone Congress Day! We need your help!Passage of the Clean Water Restoration Act in the House of Representatives (HR 2421) is within sight, but time is running out! Proposal:This bill will restore longstanding environmental protection under the Clean Water Act for all our nation's waters and will ensure protection of waterways in communities across the country.This Wednesday a national coalition of organizations from across the country who support clean water is sponsoring a National Clean Water Call-In Day to Members of Congress. Help make the Clean Water Restoration Act a reality:Please call your IL RepresentativeCatholic Social Teaching: We must "Care for God's Creation". Lack of clean water is a major contributor to poverty and disease throughout the world. It is our responsibility to see that the water supply is protected.Sample Message
